Privacy Policy

awebnow (“Ateki Web Now”), a service of Ateki, LLC, collects only the information needed to provide and bill for your services. We do not sell your personal information. This policy explains what we collect on awebnow.com and in the client area, how we use it, and who we share it with.

1. Information we collect

• Account and contact details: name, company, address, email, phone number, and the contacts you list on your account.
• Billing details: invoices, payment history, and the billing address. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Domain registration data: registrant, admin and technical contact details, which registries and ICANN require.
• Support records: tickets, emails and notes from phone calls.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and login times, from server logs and the client area’s security logs.
• Content on our servers: website files, databases and email in your hosting account. We access these only to provide service, troubleshoot problems you report, protect the server, or when the law requires it.

2. How we use it

• To set up, deliver, renew and support your services.
• To send invoices, renewal and expiration notices, and service announcements.
• To prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized access.
• To understand how visitors use awebnow.com so we can improve the website.
• To send occasional news and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in any of these emails. Service and billing emails are not optional while you have an active account.

3. Who we share it with

We share information only with the providers needed to deliver your services, and only as much as each one needs:

• Domain registrar and registries (Tucows/eNom and the registry for each domain extension), to register and manage your domains. Some registration data may appear in public WHOIS/RDAP records, subject to registrar privacy rules.
• Payment processor, to charge your payment method.
• Certificate authorities and add-on vendors (for example, SSL providers, Site Builder, SocialBee and 360 Monitoring), when you order their products.
• Email delivery services, such as our newsletter provider.
• Law enforcement or courts, when required by a valid subpoena, court order or other legal process, or when needed to protect our customers, our systems or our rights.

4. Cookies and analytics

• The client area and shopping cart use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your cart.
• We use Google Analytics to measure website traffic. Google sets its own cookies and handles that data under its privacy policy. You can block analytics cookies in your browser or with Google’s opt-out browser add-on without affecting the services.

5. How long we keep it

• Account, billing and domain records: while you are a customer, and for as long afterward as tax and accounting laws require.
• Hosting content: deleted when the account is terminated. Copies in backups age out on the normal backup schedule.
• Server logs: kept for a limited time for security and troubleshooting.

6. Security

The website and client area use SSL/TLS encryption. We also protect data with firewalls, access controls, and regular updates to our servers. No system is 100% secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us right away if you suspect someone has accessed your account.

7. Your choices and rights

• Review and update your details at any time in the client area.
• Ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it. We may need to keep some records for legal, billing or domain registration reasons.
• Depending on your state, you may have additional privacy rights. Contact us and we will respond within the time your state’s law requires.

8. Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. For significant changes, we will email account holders.
